Ceiling Re-strapping and Repair in Perth

This plasterglass ceiling had sagged significantly due to failed strapping, with the owners wanting to retain the original ornate cornices. The ceiling was re-propped and accessed from the roof space, where new strapping and fixings were installed to improve support.

Cracked areas were then flushed, sanded, and painted to match the existing ceiling, with care taken to preserve the original cornice details.

This type of repair allows existing ceilings to be stabilised while retaining original features where replacement isn’t preferred.
